Market rules & strategy
Take one non-camel card, or take every camel. Your hand limit is seven. Sell any number of one good; diamonds, gold and silver require at least two. Rewards decline as both merchants sell. Sets of three, four or five-or-more earn an extra bonus token (1–3, 4–6 or 8–10 rupees).
Exchange at least two market goods for an equal number of hand goods and/or camels. You cannot take camels or return a good of a kind you are taking. Select market cards, then select returns below. Exchanges do not refill the deck.
A round ends when three reward piles empty or the market cannot refill. Add five rupees for the larger camel herd. Ties compare bonus token count, then goods token count, then favor the non-starting merchant. The loser starts the next round. Two merchant seals win the match.
